The staff was friendly and welcoming. the location was great, with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. I appreciated the possibility of cooking my own meals and the communal area was quite comfortable.
Although I was aware before I booked, I didn't like the fact that some rooms didn't have windows and only skylights on the ceiling. It wasn't pleasant for me to wake up without natural light in the morning.

Very clean hostel, could eat off the floor if you wanted! Friendly owners who provide plenty of local information and are passionate about their area.- Comfortable and homely sitting and eating area.- Excellent location in a quiet area but close to shops.- Double power points at each bed for electronics.- Fantastically clean hostel.- Great welcome and friendly owners.- Comfortable sitting and eating area.- Excellent location.- Double power points at each bed
Not all rooms have windows, only a skylight for natural light. Guests need to use the remote control to close the blinds on the skylight to prevent daylight streaming in at 2.30am in mid-summer.

Located in a quiet area of a small town, this hostel is in the centre of the action, with easy access to shops, pubs, bars. the comfortable communal area is perfect to cook your own food and relax after a day out. Rooms are remarkably clean with ensuite facilities, including a separate toilet and shower room. Skylight windows and the shutters give guests perfect control over daylight and privacy.
Though the kitchen facilities are excellent, the space can feel cramped when the hostel is full.

This hotel provided an exceptional experience with its exclusive amenities. the room was luxurious with private facilities that met all my needs. the staff was incredibly friendly and always available to assist. the service provided was top-notch and added to an already unforgettable stay. the location advantages allowed me to explore the surrounding area with ease.
There was only one minor issue I experienced, and that was with the leisure room. Though the TV room was comfortable, it did get a bit crowded during peak hours.

Great location for exploring the beautiful surroundings and attractions like Braemar, Cairngorms, River Dee, and Balmoral. Plenty of local restaurants, pubs, shops, and a large village green nearby, providing convenience and options for entertainment. - Spacious and well-equipped communal areas, including a comfortable sitting room and dining area. - Helpful and friendly host who goes above and beyond to assist guests. - On-site laundry facilities were appreciated.
Some rooms lacked windows, only having skylights, which may not be ideal for those who prefer natural light and a view. Limited parking options, with free on-street parking being a gamble and check-in time at 5pm seems quite late, especially if the weather is unfavorable.

Great atmosphere and excellent facilities in the heart of the city. The location was amazing as everything, including shops and restaurants, was just a stone's throw away from the hostel. I loved the spacious and well-equipped common areas, especially the kitchen facilities, which were clean and modern. Plus, the friendly and hospitable staff made us feel quite welcome.
The hostel is located on a street with no parking available, and we had to park in a nearby lot, which is not free of charge. the check-in time is quite late, so we couldn't settle in earlier.

We were pleasantly surprised by the classy ambiance and affordable prices at the hostel. The kitchen facilities were top-notch, and the sitting room and dining area provided a relaxing atmosphere. The owners were incredibly welcoming, making us feel like old friends. The hostel's central location was convenient for exploring the local area and enjoying the nearby restaurants, pubs, and shops. The rooms were spotless, with en-suite separate toilet and shower rooms. The skylight windows could be closed completely to block out daylight during the long summer nights. we highly recommend this hostel for its amazing hospitality and facilities.
